Having a child with special needs affects the entire family system, and can be very challenging. It is my hope through my work to help families navigate and understand how wonderful their special need child is and how to strengthen the attachment, relationship and bond between all family members. I strive to help family members to understand their special child/sibling and provide support to the entire family. Strengthening the bond/attachment between a parent and child is critical in any child’s development of self and relationships with those around them. It is my hope that when working with families to strengthen the parent child relationship and to give families the tools they need to become stronger. Through Parent Child relationship therapy, I strive to give parents the tools needed to meet everyday challenges. As a Birth – 5 therapist I work to empower your child, to help them learn age appropriate coping skills to successfully navigate through life and handle their big feelings.
