My approach to therapy is best described as person centered, client driven and strengths focused. Personally, I believe that people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds are resilient, strong and capable of coping with the things that life throws at them – they may just need some additional support along the way. I enjoy working with pre-teen, teen and young adult populations helping to understand themselves, the world around them and how to achieve their best version – whatever that may look like. Being trauma informed and striving for honesty, compassion, and understanding are also very essential aspects of my work with members and their families. Therapy can be hard work at times, but it is my belief that through a positive relationship and working together the change you seek can happen.
