The Casa de los Niños Thrift Store is almost as old as the organization itself. Our nursery opened in November of 1973. By the following spring, friends of Sister Kathleen Clark were collecting blankets, diapers and clothes for the children. The collection point was a carport at a nurse’s home.
Today, our Thrift Store is a little bit bigger than that. Indeed, it is one of the largest second-hand stores in Tucson. Located at the corner of E. Prince Road and N. Mountain Avenue, the Casa de los Niños Thrift Store has a large inventory of lightly used furniture, clothing and household items — all at affordable prices.
It is strictly a win-win proposition. Donors are able to recycle gently-used items that might otherwise be discarded. Shoppers are able to buy quality merchandise at low prices. Volunteer Thrift Store workers are able to help Tucson’s children, and all profits support the kids at Casa de los Niños.
Donations are always welcome. If you would like us to pick them up from your home or office, just call us at (520) 325-2573. Smaller items can be left at our store.
If you would like to browse through our various collections, our Thrift Store is open seven days a week. Come see us!
