Community Outreach
In addition to providing Parent Education opportunities, our Child Abuse Resource Coordinator oversees educational outreach in the community. We produce timely materials, attend fairs and events, work with local churches and schools and make presentations throughout Pima County.
Presentation topics include how to detect abuse and neglect, how and when to report abuse and neglect, the effects of trauma on children, and the socio-economic costs of child abuse in our community.
