How it Works
Hosts will plan and schedule the party, and provide or solicit in-kind donations of food and/or accessories. A theme is determined, a price point for donation is established and you’re ready!
Party Toolkit
The Party Toolkit includes a sample invitation, party ideas, documentation of tax-exempt status, information about Casa de los Niños for guests to take home and talking points for a brief presentation.
Hosts will set a fundraising goal and invite their guests at a specific price point.
- For example, a host might have a family board game night for twenty, and ask for donations of $25 per family, to reach a goal of $250.00.
- Or A host might plan an casual dinner for twenty, and ask for donations of $35 per person, to reach a goal of $700.
- Or A host could have a picnic for 50, with a donation of $20 per person, to reach a goal of $1,000.
Or another host could plan an afternoon of sports games for 150, and ask for a donation of $10 per person, to reach a goal of $1500. - Or a host might plan an elegant dinner party for ten, and ask for donations of $250 per person, to reach a goal of $2500.
- Or a host may celebrate the birthday of their young child and ask for a $20.00 donation to Casa de los Niños in lieu of presents.
- Or a cosmetic or insurance representative may hose a demonstration in which 20% of sales are donated to Casa de los Niños.
It’s completely flexible!
