Child Guidance Specialist – School Age – Child & Family Services

The children who come to Casa de los Niños have experienced many different traumatic circumstances; the Child Guidance Specialists helps to enhance children’s natural resiliency; and develops and supervises the Nursery, Preschool or School Age program. This includes providing developmentally appropriate curriculum with a focus on assessment and intervention in the developmental and emotional progress of children in the age range and the direct supervision of the Primary Care Workers in the department including their ongoing training and development. Nurse Home Visitor – Nurse Family Partnership

The Nurse-Family Home Visiting Program) Nurse Home Visitor (NFHVP) is responsible for providing comprehensive community health nursing services to women and their families eligible for the NFHVP Program. The Nurse Home Visitor is responsible for maintaining the highest standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) model, and to policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of NFP and of the lead agency. Family Support Partner – Meet Me Where I Am – Behavioral Health Services

The Family Support Partner – Meet Me Where I Am (MMWIA) provides in-home direct support and training to families as assigned by the family team meetings. The position is responsible for assessing the family’s need for support, training, educational needs and additional services; provides services in the client’s and family’s natural settings such as: in home, school, work and community; provides services in conjunction to the MMWIA expectations and requirements; able to provide services outside of normal business hours, 24/7; and acts as a liaison to community agencies. Mental Health Consultant – Child & Family Services

Provides mental health services in a classroom and/or home-based consultative or short term setting to address the behavioral/mental health needs of enrolled children and families with a focus on providing early intervention and prevention services to improve the emotional well-being, coping skills, general adaptive functioning and social competence of children and families according to the agency mission and philosophy and department goals. Care Coordinator I or II – Behavioral Health Services

The Care Coordinator I is responsible for the comprehensive coordination of behavioral health services for children who have complex psychosocial needs and support to their parents and guardians. The position provides individual, family and group services to children, youth, and families. The Care Coordinator facilitates Child & Family Teams and engages members and their families in recovery oriented treatment planning. The Care Coordinator will carry an assigned caseload and will deliver services singly or as part of a team and maintain accurate and timely clinical service records, prepare and provide accurate reports; and submit data in an accurate and timely manner. Will have a reasonable case load and work in a professional team environment. Some positions require variable schedules including evening and weekend hours.

LPN-Medical Assistant – Behavioral Health Services

Under the supervision of the Medical Director and working closely with the Clinical Director and other Prescribers, the Medical Assistant is responsible for the direct support of medical management and administrative duties for prescribers for the behavioral health network. Case Manager – Judicial Supervision Program

The Case Manager is responsible for orchestrating services for assigned families that have been ordered by the Court to participate in the Judicial Supervision Program. This generally includes conducting client intakes, implementing service structures, maintaining computer and physical case files, reviewing and editing service summaries, tracking client fee balances, and composing and submitting Reports for and attending court hearings. The Case Manager also directly supervises assigned Visitation Monitors to include recruitment, hiring, training, disciplinary action, recognition, team-building, and ongoing and formal performance evaluation. Visitation Monitor – Judicial Supervision Program

The Visitation Monitor provides safe supervised visitation services for children of divorcing parents, parents who are already divorced and to never-married parents. The Monitor ensures the provision of a safe, supportive and comfortable atmosphere for children to have contact with their family members by facilitating supervised exchanges and or supervised visits.
