Sample Party Ideas

A Night For Children gathering does not need to break the bank. It need not be expensive for your friends and colleagues, either.  Here are some party and event ideas to help with planning your own event.

Personal Parties/Events:

• Provide a Parents Night Out for your friends and charge them to babysit their children.
• Host a Texas Hold-em Tournament, and give a percentage of the buy-in to Casa.
• Hold a Birthday Party for Casa, and ask guests bring a present from our wish list.
• Host a Baby Shower for Casa, and suggest your guests bring diapers or baby clothes.
• Have a Ladies Spa Night and ask your friends to make a certain donations for each service they receive.
• Host a Cocktail Party and charge guests to attend. You might put out a “tip cup for Casa.”
• Do a Dinner Party, charging guests to attend
• Cooking Demonstration. Invite a chef to your home (or at their restaurant) to give a cooking demonstration.
• Cake Decorating Lesson. Your friends get lessons on how to decorate their own cake.  You charge them for the lesson.
• Provide a Casa Thrift Store pick-up day, and invite your neighbors to leave items on the curb.
• Treat your friends to coffee at Starbucks and ask for Casa donations

Business Parties and Events:

• Manager/Owner hosts a happy hour and asks for donations.
• Cater in lunch to employees and ask for donations.
• Brown bag lunch meeting and ask for donations.
• Bring in donuts and coffee every Friday in April and put a donation jar next to your treats.
• Ask your sales staff to donate a certain amount for each unit sold in April
• Charge employees for the privilege of wearing casual clothes on Friday in April.
• Ask 5+ employees to provide all the food for a gourmet pot luck and ask all other employees to pay for their lunch.
